(More customer reviews)this is a PROPER carving set.By that i simply mean it is not a fork and 8-inch chef's knife, it is a fork and carving/slicing knife.There's nothing wrong with a slicing knife, but it just isn't an 'all purpose' knife, it's 'purpose designed.'So five for quality, but minus two because the product advertised is not the product they're selling.
