Although these bowls are expensive, I truly believe they are worth the price. My husband and I love french Onion Soup and I never have to worry that these bowls are going to crack under the broiler - unlike some other bowls we have used in the past.Plus clean-up with these is a breeze!I never have to scrub off the last remnants of the the baked-on cheese, it just slides right off under a little running water.

As always, you get what you pay for...and these are worth the price!
