(More customer reviews)I was thinking of buying a new revere ware pan. I inherited one from my mom when I moved out of the house at 19. I have been using it ever since. Eventually, I noticed the handles were loose. My husband tried to tighten them but it didn't work. There were so many other things a family of four needed, I just ddin't want to spent the money on a new pan. I had it on my Amazon wish list for a couple years..............then when I made up my mind to buy the pan, I scrolled down and saw the hardware for vintage reverve ware. My huband (of 30 years) is pretty handy and I thought if I got the parts he could fix the pan. Voila! He did and we are totally back in business with this pan at a cost of $4.00 instead of $27.00!

(More customer reviews)I was looking for another 3-quart saucepan to replace the Revere Ware 3-qt saucepan that was left on the stove too long and I could not get the burnt-on rice completely off the inside bottom of the pan, even after days of scrubbing and using many different forms of cleaning techniques and scrubbies (any suggestions on another method, please let me know).
Now about this 3-qt. Saucepan:
When it arrived, I was at first surprized by how light in weight the package was.When I opened up the inner Revere Ware box, the pan looked similar to the original I bought 15 years ago which was then made in the USA.I turned the saucepan over and it says:"3qt/2.85 L. REVERE WARE e07S INDONESIA".Indonesia?I knew then why it was so much lighter in weight than the Revere Ware I purchased 15 yrs ago.This appears to be another example of a US company moving to a more cost-effective production site overseas;though obviously the product is inferior in quality, compared to what was made by Revere Ware USA.I write this so that you are aware before you buy this product, that if you are expecting it to be the same as Revere Ware made in the USA, you will be sadly disappointed as I was.I will say it was packed well, arrived in a timely manner, and is very shiny.I used it tonight to cook part of our dinner, and I will say, it did a good job, but, if you want a good quality-built pan, you may try All-Clad or Gourmet Standard Tri-Ply as recommended by America's Test Kitchen Equipment Corner.

Revere 1400 Line 3-Quart Covered Saucepan Review

(More customer reviews)The other reviewer is right about old Revere Ware; its great stuff that'll last forever. However, newer Revere Ware, like what's being advertised here, is total junk. I own an old 2qt saucepan and a brand new 4.5qt Dutch oven. The Dutch oven isflimsy and the lid doesn't fit well. If you want good Revere Ware make sure it's from the USA (not Indonesia, like the new stuff) and OLD. Try yard sales or ebay. The only thing to recommend new Revere ware is the 25 year warranty. That is the only way the old and new products are comparable.

(More customer reviews)The name Revere ware used to mean exceptional quality, now it means "Just more Chinese crap".The bottom is so thin it can't have the logo stamped properly.The redesigned handle has an impossible to wash void in it. In all fairness it is better than most imported junk.

(More customer reviews)I have an identical pan that I have owned for 16 years with no complaints. It is still as good as when i bought it and it has had some heavy use.

THe new one is terrible - way less material - feels flimsy and it buckled the first time I used it. it now rocks around on a convex base.

Don't buy this if you are expecting the quality provided by Revere in the past.

(More customer reviews)I fondly remember growing up with Revere cookware during the '50s and '60s.It was sturdy and manufactured with care to precise measurements.Unfortunately, this is NOT the same product.Apparently, Revere cookware is now being manufactured in some third-world dumpster.The overall construction is flimsy; it bends and dents easily.None of the lids fit properly.The unreasonably thin "copper-cladding" was unevenly applied and looks like a roller-coaster ride around the sides of the saucepans.Revere needs to clean-up its act, or go out-of-business.

The stainless steel is not nearly as heavy and the lid doesn't fit properly. Food has to be cooked at a lower temperature otherwise it sticks. Otherwise, I guess for the money is it ok.J.M.

(More customer reviews)It's a pleasure to cook with these pans.They are beautiful!I haven't had any problems with food sticking or difficulty cleaning up.They heat quickly and evenly.Be sure to use a lower temperature than you would with non-stick pans.They feel very sturdy.

I wish they had made them so each lid fit a pot and saute pan, like my boyfriend's Cuisinart set.But considering that I picked these up for less than half the price of his set... I'm certainly not complaining!
