I had the tumbler (with a lid) in my car (black interior that gets a little toasty) for almost three hours in 100 degree weather (outside) and when I tested the water in the mug- still cool! I was delightfully shocked. Can't wait to try it with my tea in the winter. And it appears to be fairly durable. I dropped it on purpose to test the unbreakable claim- no damage. I highly recommend it.
