(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this set of dishes.The dinner plates are huge!That's actually one reason I gave this set only 4 stars out of 5.The dinner plates have to be placed just right in the dishwasher so that they'll fit.The dessert plates and bowls are a nice size.I haven't used the mugs, but they are very pretty.It's true the colors are not very vivid and there is no coloring on the bowls.The dinnerware is heavy... I would not want to use them for buffets and/or passing plates as this would prove to be difficult for your guests.
Another reason I only gave 4 stars is because the set is not packaged well I believe on Pfaltzgraff's end.And you will likely get a broken piece which makes this purchase a hassle.Make sure you order well in advance of your event just in case.Amazon was incredible though, as usual, with their return policy on these defective sets.
