(More customer reviews)I have had a set for years and am known for my Linzer Tarts by friends and family.My niece wanted to learn how to make them and I bought a set for her as a stocking stuffer.Now she can make "Aunt Linda's Linzer Tarts" and carry on the tradition.I bought a set of Christmas shaped ones from a different company and they fell apart.These are still the best.

Create European-style linzer cookies filled with raspberry or apricot jam and topped with sugar. The fluted round cookie cutter has interchangeable center shapes for cutting out centre holes.

Harold's Kitchen Jungle Animals Cookie Cutters, Set of 11 in Tin Review

(More customer reviews)Harold's jungle is a lot different from mine.I recognized 4 out of 11 animals by shape: a lion, a crocodile, a giraffe and an elephant. I also recognized a crown, a palm tree, and a man one one knee aiming his rifle.I also thought I saw a ghost.By looking at the picture in the box I identified the ghost as a toucan sitting on a branch, a monkey hanging by one arm from a branch with one arm and two legs dangling and only a bump for a head (impossible to recognize by the shape, as are all the rest of the figures).A boy hanging on to a branch, a jeep (for the hunter, I guess) and the pirate ship from the title of my review.The set is mini for sure, but the theme was not appropriate.Surely there are more jungle animals than the six in this set, two of which are unrecognizable by shape alone.Very disappointing!

A fun famiily project for a rainy afternoon, I bought the set as a small gift to include with a gift card on the occasion of the birth of my niece's baby.

The metal cutters create crisp outlines and they are neatly boxed for an attractive small gift. They would be great to purchase for a baby shower, a secret Santa gift for a baker or a cookie cutter collector.

(More customer reviews)If you like the looks of the cookies in the picture (and I do) you'll love these cutters.Three things will make them easy to work with:

1.If you're having the same problem that the first reviewer did, lightly dip the cutters in flour before each cut.(Particularly with the little pieces.)

2.Chill the dough for 30 minutes before rolling and cutting, or it will spread as the cookies bake and you'll have to cut away at the notches to make the cookies fit together.

3.If you want very thin cookies (maybe not a good idea for stability) you may need to roll the dough on the cookie sheet.

(More customer reviews)The photo of the set makes it clear what you will be receiving -- three metal cookie cutters in graduated sizes, all shaped like a foot. The quality is fine and I liked the storage tin that is included because it makes the set easy to find. My cutters are stored in a big box and it takes a while to locate anything -- not the case with this set. My only complaint is that the smallest cutter is very small. I realize the measurements are given in the description but for some reason I don't think I focused on just how small 1 1/2 inches is until I saw the cutter. If I could change anything, I would make all of the cutters a bit bigger. The smallest cutter does work well for canapes but is a bit too small for a cookie. It is an adorable set and perfect for a shower, Summer party. or bon voyage send-off to an exotic island.

(More customer reviews)These are really cute cookie cutters.I only gave them 3 of 5 stars because I was a bit disappointed in their size; they are rather small.They range in size from 1" to 2".I will probably use them to cut fondant icing rather than as cookie cutters since they will only make bite size cookies.
My mother suggested I purchase another set for my 4 year old nephew to use with his play dough.They would be great for this, but I would suggest that you supervise a child while using these since they do have a sharp cutting edge.
