It's made of chef-quality, yet lightweight, stainless steel which makes it very easy to lift and easy to clean as well. It also stacks nice and neatly together so I'm able to store it a cabinet in our tent trailer - the cabinet being on the small side and not very deep. On our last camping trip, I was able to cook more than enough food for our family of six, which includes four very hungry boys :) We even prepared a wonderful egg and pancake breakfast, using the smaller pots as mixing bowls (they have slightly rounded bottom edges on the inside making mixing and cleaning very easy) for the pancake batter and scrambled eggs, and then used the 3-quart pot along with the universal lid as a pancake warmer, and boy did that keep them piping hot on a very chilly morning. I highly recommend this set for a family looking for a quality camping cookware set that stores very easily!
