(More customer reviews)I'll start by saying that until this point, I was a big T-Fal fan.
I ordered my set of 2 pans in November 07. When I got them, they did not look like the picture on Amazon. I contacted T-Fal about this and they said the picture does not always look like the product.
OK - I was fine with that. I didn't get the Thermo-Spot thing, but that's ok. Next thing I noticed is that the handles on both pans started to feel loose. I contacted the company about it. They said this sometimes happens but not to worry.
Finally, I was rinsing out one of the pans the other day and the handle completely fell off. This is ridiculous! That could have been very dangerous. I tried getting in touch with T-Fal and no luck so far. I will keep trying.
Don't buy these pans!

The product image does not do this set justice-I selected the blue color because I have mostly blue accessories, and it is a satin metal finish on the outside-not a glossy ceramic coating which makes the set even more durable and easy to clean. The metallic shade of blue is stunning and the cookware is built to last, the lids fit well and they are of a superior gloss and the set is very heavy. I too am hard on my cookware and I expect to have this set for the duration. The handles are tight, and though the set is sturdy-the pieces aren't so heavy that they are difficult to clean or handle as some cookware is-especially skillets. I am single, but after 20 years of marriage I am used to cooking all of my meals and I can tell this set will hold up and serve all of my cooking needs. I already had a farberware full size high-sided skillet for making chili or anything with a larger liquid volume and I think that is the only other item I would add to this collection for a complete kitchen for the gourmet or novice. Value, quality and appearance in one tidy box!

(More customer reviews)I bought this set because I've been dying for a blue cookware set for ages and I just moved into a new apartment so I figured now would be the best time.I'm a graduate student and I don't cook too much so a cheap set works out fine for me, I didn't really need a gourmet super fancy set. I mean, it's very aesthetically pleasing but I'm not so sure about the function, I haven't used them set since I haven't made up my mine about keeping them.
Some one of the pots and one of the pans were scratched on in bottom (black, nonstick portion), I'm not sure if that's due to faulty packaging or what but I'm kind of irked about that.Also, the large pan is not completely flat, there's a bit of a curvature/bubble thing that makes it wobble when you set it on a flat surface.If you have a gas stove ID ont' think this should be as big of a deal but if you've got an electric coil stove you're kind of screwed.The metal for pots and pans themselves seem kind of thin, which is probably why they're so easily bent.
Basically, if you cook a lot, you probably already know this isn't the set for you.If you're a poor college kid that's a big fan of blue and doesn't mind a sub-par set for cheap, this might be just right for you.

The company also stands behind its products and responds to customers via email.I was missing one of the lids to the pans after a move.I contacted them about it, and they helped me to replace the piece.It was great service on their part, and although I know these pans are going to last me for years and years, I will probably buy WearEver again.

Might not be able to pass these down to your daughter, but that's true of a lot of things today. However, the frying pan tends to be a bit unstable which leads to slightly uneven heating on one side of the pan. The spoons are mere add ons. They can be used as serving spoons but not to aid in cooking. The handle is also made of plastic and hence be careful if you leave it long enough in contact with the hot container. Overall a very useful adjunct to the kitchen.
