(More customer reviews)I'll start by saying that until this point, I was a big T-Fal fan.
I ordered my set of 2 pans in November 07. When I got them, they did not look like the picture on Amazon. I contacted T-Fal about this and they said the picture does not always look like the product.
OK - I was fine with that. I didn't get the Thermo-Spot thing, but that's ok. Next thing I noticed is that the handles on both pans started to feel loose. I contacted the company about it. They said this sometimes happens but not to worry.
Finally, I was rinsing out one of the pans the other day and the handle completely fell off. This is ridiculous! That could have been very dangerous. I tried getting in touch with T-Fal and no luck so far. I will keep trying.
Don't buy these pans!

(More customer reviews)The colors and non-stick surfaces are excellent for about a year. After that the non-stick stops non sticking :) and the colors fade from bright red to dark red. Some have said that it's from washing in the dishwasher, but this set claims to be "dishwasher safe". If you can find it deeply discounted and don't expect it to last more than 2 years, buy it. Otherwise, move on.

I was getting tired of buying and throwing away pans because their non stick surface was in my dinner. This set has a heavy bottom that cooks food faster than the regular pans. These pans are non stick on the outside also and are very easy to clean. I would have paid much more for this quality but these were quite reasonable to me. The red dot in the middle is a nice added touch to a very good set of pans. The lids fit perfectly and have the little breather hole. I think they are a nice looking set also.

(More customer reviews)I bought this product last fall and ended up taking the set back. I was really looking for a nice Farberware set with the straining lids.I've had an old set of Farberware for probably 30 years and it's been very serviceable, but I was slowly losing pieces.

The new pots are definitely not the same quality that I had in my old pots.The poorly constructed lids were just not acceptable.The inside of the lid didn't seem to be properly finished or "rolled."The edge was quite sharp on a few of the pots.You would have to be very careful every time you washed those pots.I'm just too busy to worry about safety when washing pots!

Don't pass these by for that reason. All you need to do is turn over your fancy cuisinart pots and look at the bottom....yes....those are made in china too!

For the bucks you spend, these are nice quality tri-ply cookware. I actual favor the ergonomic handle design on these Bodeux over the classic cuisinart handles. These have polished insides with rounded corners (makes stirring easier). The 2 non-stick frying pans in this set make it a nice nice starter set for any fussy cook.

The product image does not do this set justice-I selected the blue color because I have mostly blue accessories, and it is a satin metal finish on the outside-not a glossy ceramic coating which makes the set even more durable and easy to clean. The metallic shade of blue is stunning and the cookware is built to last, the lids fit well and they are of a superior gloss and the set is very heavy. I too am hard on my cookware and I expect to have this set for the duration. The handles are tight, and though the set is sturdy-the pieces aren't so heavy that they are difficult to clean or handle as some cookware is-especially skillets. I am single, but after 20 years of marriage I am used to cooking all of my meals and I can tell this set will hold up and serve all of my cooking needs. I already had a farberware full size high-sided skillet for making chili or anything with a larger liquid volume and I think that is the only other item I would add to this collection for a complete kitchen for the gourmet or novice. Value, quality and appearance in one tidy box!

(More customer reviews)I accidentally overheated my new stainless steel pan and it ended up with a horrible looking rainbow-like stains all over the bottom of the pan.I thought I had ruined it but I decided to give this cleaner a try as it was much cheaper than replacing the pan.It was amazing!It took the stain right off and the pan looks shiny and brand new.It was really easy too.I was ready to scrub my little heart out to get the stain off but it only took about 30 seconds and no elbow grease whatsoever.

The only thing I think could be improved upon is the handles could be a no heat transfer handle. I need to use the hot pad to handle them. They wash nice and cook well.
