(More customer reviews)I have a set of bowls made by BIA that I picked up at a local... store, and have been searching for more since that day!I LOVE these bowls.They are absolutely perfect for a good helping of noodles, or red lentil dal, soup or chowder. They also can double as a serving dish for a side of veggies.
My bowls are high on the sides and resemble a rice bowl.This picture makes the product look a bit more rounded in comparison to what I bought.But in any other way, they are the same.
I love them.What else can I say?

(More customer reviews)Although these delightful bowls do not come close to holding the 24 ounces advertised, (closer to 20 oz), they are nevertheless a very good deal at 4 for $19.99.I own several of these bowls in Winterberry, Filigree and also Grapevine patterns.I love the versatility.They make not only a generous-sized serving of soup or cereal but can be used for serving pieces for smaller side dishes.I love the design and they certainly compliment the Winterberry collection favorably.Although one reviewer stated she received broken dishes, I have ordered numerous Pfaltzgraff items through Amazon and have not had any broken items.As with other Pfaltzgraff pottery, everything seems to be made in China now and is not of the superior quality that their pottery enjoyed when made in the USA.Since I began my Winterberry collection several years before the advent of the "made in China" items, there is a noticeable difference in quality, color of the glaze and thickness of the pottery itself in nearly every piece that I have received recently.Therefore, I give this item a 4 star rating instead of 5.Even though the quality is not up to their previous standards, Pfaltzgraff continues to provide good quality products and these bowls are a charming addition.

Mikasa Antique White Fruit Bowl , Set of 4 Review

(More customer reviews)These little bowls nest perfectly. They hold 2/3 cup liquid in the bowl portion (up to the edge). I'm using them for fruit (of course) and for ice cream. Two average scoops look quite generous.

Mikasa Antique White 6-Inch Cereal Bowls, Set of 4 Review

(More customer reviews)We have the larger set of antique white mikasa dishes, and we love the set. The soup bowls the big set came with are too shallow for cereal, and so we bought these. These bowls look nice, but they are too large for cereal bowls. They do not stack well on the shelf and they take up a lot of space in the dishwasher as well. Maybe they would be good for small serving bowls?
