(More customer reviews)Like the other reviewers I'm very impressed with the quality of the Ballarini pots and pans. I've had them for about 1 year now (but purchased them as separate items) and here it goes:
Positive:
- the quality is impressive
- the grooves on the bottom seem to evenly distribute the heat (just watch moving them around on ceran cooktops so you don't scratch anything - this has not happened to me on this cookware but on my previous T-fal pans with grooves...).
- warranty is 5 (yes FIVE!) years and I don't expect to need it
- unlike other reviewers are recommending; they go in the dishwasher in our household and come out right every time
Negative:
- the single saucepans don't come with lids but you probably have one that fits it so that's not a big deal.
- on the bigger pots/pans they come with glass lids which for me are too heavy, but you can substitute with same size metal lids from other cookware
All in all I recommend these highly and I have purchased other saucepans and pots from this company and replaced all of my older ones with them. My recommendation is: BUY THE SET as they are great instead of ending up paying more for individual pieces w/o lids.
If you're torn between supermarket type quality cookware and some higher priced cookware (like Berndes) - these are the best alternative you could purchase!
