(More customer reviews)I bought these for some friends who were recently engaged.I had no idea what to get, and they aren't registered anywhere, so I thought a pair of champagne flutes would be a nice way to toast their engagement.These are beautiful, a very clean design that will appeal to anyone.Also, they're made by Waterford, as very well recognized brand, and are also designed by Robert Mondavi, again, a name that's well known, and lends an air of class to this gift.The packaging was probably the biggest surprise.The box is very attractive, and appropriately so, can take a massive beating and still protect the glassware.I highly recommend these flutes, and my friends loved them.

(More customer reviews)I was trying to find decent, reasonably priced glassware NOT made in China. So I purchased these and others that were made in the US. He seems to prefer these for special drinks and uses the others. These are fancier and work well with fine stem crystal, such as the Lenox Monroe pattern. I will probably purchase more.
