(More customer reviews)It's not easy finding a china pattern of high quality in plain white, but Wedgewood White fits the bill. The pieces are formal in shape and they are slightly translucent when held to the light, as bone china should be. The plates are not oversized, as some other white china patterns are. As far as color goes they are a bright white, but not glaring white if that makes sense. I love the fact that the simple design will allow me to add seasonal accent plates and chargers that I can change with the holiday.

So, overall pretty but not great.Who doesn't toast champagne?IMHO, a nice ring is important.

This fine bone china is perfect for the modern world - It is beautiful on any table - and can be dressed up with chargers and napkins - you can ALWAYS change the look and formality of plain white china - it's so versatile!Not to mention, clean-up is a breeze because of the dishwasher safe feature!

My husband and I use these dishes every day - we use them as our every day dinnerware as well as fine china for entertaining - we love it so much and cannot recommend it more!

We agreed on this pattern because of the fact that the basketweave pattern is very classic as well as modern - as it's been around for years (i think it's been a Wedgwood pattern for nearly 25 years) - It has staying power for replacements and also - it STILL looks modern - which was important to us in finding china - something that will remain beautiful for decades to come!

(More customer reviews)I bought these for some friends who were recently engaged.I had no idea what to get, and they aren't registered anywhere, so I thought a pair of champagne flutes would be a nice way to toast their engagement.These are beautiful, a very clean design that will appeal to anyone.Also, they're made by Waterford, as very well recognized brand, and are also designed by Robert Mondavi, again, a name that's well known, and lends an air of class to this gift.The packaging was probably the biggest surprise.The box is very attractive, and appropriately so, can take a massive beating and still protect the glassware.I highly recommend these flutes, and my friends loved them.

(More customer reviews)I have a slightly different version of the set.Same chrome rack, but with 5 tools.Anyway the utensils have long handles and are quite sturdy.They look great on the counter by the stove.The utensils are dishwasher safe.The ladle serves up a good amount of soup.
The only gripe I have about it is sometimes the rack overbalances and tips over.Now I'm careful about not stashing all the utensils on one side and it works fine.

(More customer reviews)I bought the Metrokane Rabbit as a Christmas gift for my parents and it has since become the most indispensible item in our kitchen.We drink wine every night in our house, and have been through many a corkscrew, but absolutely nothing compares to this.The Rabbit makes short work of opening a bottle of wine for even the puniest-armed of us, and indeed, has caused one or two scuffles at dinner over who gets to open the next bottle of wine! I have about 7 various brands and sizes and I have to say that with this combo of 4 and 8 qt models I'll probably never use any of my other ones again. They are built so well... They reminded me of Iron Clad. Plus they are so much quieter than my older style ones. I wish I had spent the money sooner. And, they are full 15 pounders, not the usual 12 lb ones I've had in the past... Big difference.
All I can say is spend the bucks and get the last ones you'll ever want to own.
