(More customer reviews)This is supposed to a special collection for WMF's 150th Anniversary. According to their website, they had enlisted "one of the most successful German designers: JETTE JOOP. The cutlery model JETTE is in something special in every respect."

I ordered this as I liked the design of the handle. Since it was a special collection, I expected it to be made in Germany.

When I received the set, I saw that the knife had "China" stamped under the WMF logo.

The other four pieces had "China" stamped after the "18/10" on the back of the handle.

Nowhere in the product description does it say that this set was made in China. The photograph of the product shown also does not have "China" stamped on it. This is clearly a case of false representation. Why should a customer pay extra for a "special anniversary set", when it is made in China, with "China" stamped all over it?This set should only be sold in China!

WMF Perfect Plus 6-1/2-Quart Pressure Cooker Review

(More customer reviews)For a long time, I had a traditional alluminum pressure cooker that was given by my mother. It has the weight thing on top and when the pressure builds up, that thing is just bouncing up and down making all kinds of noise every few seconds. And alluminum is not good for cooking anyway. I looked at several choices including Kuhn Rikon and others that have stainless steel models. Then I chose this one over the Kuhn Rikon (the other final candidate) for the look, quality and easy to clean. It's much cleaner looking than others. The control is concealed and the lid is smooth all around. I was still surprised at how well it is made when I received it. The mirror finish does make it standout in our kitchen in a good way. It's easy to clean especially with that quick release handle. The helper handle is definitely a plus for less strong arms. We have cooked many meals with it and absolutely love it. Also, its rubber seal ring is much heavy duty then some other ones I looked, one less thing to worry I guess. It will take your cooking experience to another easy and joyable level.

(More customer reviews)I have a slightly different version of the set.Same chrome rack, but with 5 tools.Anyway the utensils have long handles and are quite sturdy.They look great on the counter by the stove.The utensils are dishwasher safe.The ladle serves up a good amount of soup.
The only gripe I have about it is sometimes the rack overbalances and tips over.Now I'm careful about not stashing all the utensils on one side and it works fine.

(More customer reviews)This is a very handsome set on my countertop. The tools are very well-made and have exceptionally comfortable and sturdy handles. My favorites are the omelet turner and the ball whisk, which makes whipping up gravy on the stove a breeze. The little hooks on the exterior of the basket canister are very useful for a peeler, measuring spoons, etc.. Happy with this set. Kudos to WMF.
