(More customer reviews)We've had this flatware for one year.It still looks brand new.We put these in our dishwasher and have had no problem; and I wash dishes A LOT!They are heavy, but feel really good in your hand.I think it is beautiful and I've had many compliments on it.There are a lot of pieces available, however I wish there were long handle ice tea spoons.I would recommend these to anyone.

I really liked how the knives match the set - they look just like the butter knives with a sharp edge. So it goes perfectly with the set. Can be used for casual or formal dinnerware.

(More customer reviews)This is a beautifully classic pattern, with a nice weight to it (ours is 18/8 stainless, but Amazon advertises 18/10 stainless...don't know if this is a different version or if Amazon has the wrong info?).We selected & received this R&B pattern for our wedding 5 years ago and I still love it to this day.It's our daily use and goes great with our china, too...Mikasa's Crown Jewel Platinum.We wanted something to go with both, and this does, perfectly.

A couple of complaints, though.The knife says "Stainless Handle" on it and one of our knives (out of 12) actually broke in half when I dropped it on the floor.Also, the "cutting part" (the part that's not the handle) of the knife discolors easily, sometimes looks rusty, but polishes pretty well with a damp cloth.So, I don't know what the "cutting part" of knife is made with, but obviously it's not stainless, but the handle is.Despite that, I'm still very pleased with this flatware and love opening my flatware drawer several times a day to see & use this classy set.

(More customer reviews)It's actually 18/10 like it says (some aren't), it feels nice in the hand with a good weight like the more expensive brands. Best of all it comes out of the dishwasher spotless. I mean spotless. (Read the directions; handles down in the basket for forks & spoons, handles up for knives.) I love it. Good value for the money.

The only negative is I wish they sold this pattern open stock so I could buy extra spoons. Cocktail forks and iced tea spoons would be nice too. So far I've only been able to find it in 65-piece sets.

(More customer reviews)Firstly, I bought these for a much lower price than what they are now, so I consider them a good value.If I had paid $20 a set..well, I just probably would not have paid that.

They are nice though.They have a very smooth finish that sheds water very well (nice when washing), and they are holding up well so far (not quite a year).They are not heavy duty strength or anything, but they are not cheap.Just don't use them in inappropriate ways.

Wallace 65 pc Newbury Frost Flatware Set Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered four of these because I was throwing a huge party and needed lots of flatware. However, the picture does not really show that there is a dull opaque coating on the handle of the flatware that can be very easily scratched off by frequent use. It may also come off through multiple dishwasher use - not sure since I returned them because of this.
The weight was kind of light as well...all in all, it may be good for a cheap set for regular use but with the weight and appearance issue, it is better to splurge and buy something better.

It's very well made and the knives have no "seams" like my old knives; the blade and handle are made as a single piece.The pieces and long and elegant and well-balanced.The only drawback is that the teaspoons do not fit into a container of Yoplait yogurt because of their width, so I did not get rid of my older spoons.That is the only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5.They come out of the dishwasher beautifully clean.I just love them!
