The lid is made of a rubbery material that fits snug but is easy to lift off with one hand. The inside is black plastic. It doesn't sweat, keeps ice for several hours and looks much more stylish than most ice buckets.

Calphalon Forged Santoku Knife Review

(More customer reviews)I always just used the flimsy cheap 5" knives that were given to us prior to this purchase.This was my first "nice" piece of cutlery.The difference is amazing.Chopping vegetables takes half the time that it used to with the cheaper knives.I particularly like the heavier feel of the santoku over other specialty knives I have used in the past.If you are looking for a general purpose knife to handle your daily chopping needs, I would highly recommend purchasing this.

(More customer reviews)Initially I was very surprised by how large the tools were. They are much bigger than any tool I've bought previously. If you don't have much space in the kitchen, I'd think twice about buying these tools.However, after using them I think they are quite sturdy and useful.Eventhough they are large, they are not heavy and sometimes there size is quite helpful.You can pick up a whole fried egg with the spatula, for example. I am happy with my purchace, because the price was good.

The kitchen tools in this set are all great!good grips indeed!We got these because we have arthritis andhave trouble using some kitchen tools, These are easy to hold and use,good looking, and arequite well built. They do what they are made to do well without requiring much effort. We are going to buy more stuff from Oxo. My kids want sets of theirown for when they move out. It isa little hard to fit all the gadgets back in the bucket as neatly as they arrived.
Update: I've had these for a year now and they are all still in excellent condition and work superbly! the peeler is the bet we have ever had I had given up peeling potatosbut have no trouble now. The can opener is also excellent we all are very happy with these tools
