(More customer reviews)Unless you are going to go with Bob Kramer, a knife is pretty much a knife within a certain price range. These knives are attractive and sharp when you get them. It will take you a long time and several tools to get to the point of being able to feel the blade, though, given the packaging--takes that wimpy plastic clamshell packaging to a whole new level with the use of police-type tie-downs secured so tightly that no scissors fit under them (razor blade had no effect, hobby saw had no effect, finally used brute force and a very large screwdriver to snap them). Seems like a odd review for knives but by the time you get them open, you will already be pretty fed up with them. Do not give as gift to senior citizen unless you open them first.

(More customer reviews)I use my Paula Dean batter bowl almost daily. It is a cinch to pull out when mixing just about anything and the pour-spout side makes baking a joy. The size is larger than I expected, a definite plus. You could easily get several boxes of cake mix in with plenty of room to spare. This is a heavy and well-made piece, but the picture is somewhat misleading. The bowl has a VERY strong theme of green throughout- it is beautiful, but the picture does not really display it correctly. This is a great gift for the person who has "everything" and likes to cook. I am looking forward to collecting more pieces from Paula's line of cookwear.

(More customer reviews)I have been looking for a double boiler.Of course I wanted one that was good quality, but not to pricey.I looked around where I live because I wanted to look at it, but we have really big ones.I was want to use it for candy and making frosting, so you see I just didn't need anything so big.This double boiler is top of the line in quality and the perfect size.I thought the price was a little more than I wanted to spend, but once I received it and used it.I decided it wasn't to high.It was perfect for my frosting and clean up was super easy.I highly recommend this pan.I will also be taking a look at some of Paula Dean's other cookware.

(More customer reviews)These are really beautiful and nice quality too.I originally bought these at Walmart, and found out that they're a totally different product than these.You have to buy ones that the box says "Paula Deen Signature".Walmart's are a very cheap product with nothing similar to the "signature" product.Even thought they're $20 cheaper, they're junk.These are lovely to look at, decent weight, very nice for the money.I was please.
P.S. when I wrote on the Walmart site that their Paula Deen sets were made specifically for Walmart and poor quality, totally different pots, different fry pans, different handles from the "real" Paula Deen cookware, they didn't post in on their "review" site.

(More customer reviews)We got this 2 months ago and it's GREAT !!Strong sturdy pots and pans plus some extra mixing bowls.Put them them in the oven if you want, it won't burn the handles.Magefesa is from Spain, and more well known for their pressure cookers and gourmet products.Baked enamel exterior and non-stick surface with a solid feel.Love cooking with these.Plus we got red, for our red kitchen.Keep your eye on the price for bargins.Great deal, thanks Amazon!!

(More customer reviews)I LOVE this cookware set.Water seems to boil faster than usual & other things seem to cook a little quicker.Especially with stuff like spaghetti, my cooking time has actually decreased.And, I don't have areas of the pan that burn worse than other parts like I've had with other cookware sets.Clean-up is also really easy.

There was one thing that I was VERY surprised about though.I'm someone who usually feels the heat (when touching the handles, for instance) more than other people seemto but with this cookware, I never have to use a hot pad.I don't know what the substance is that they have covering the handles but it's really nice to just be able to pull stuff off the stove & not worry about getting burned.

I recommend this cookware to everyone!

(More customer reviews)I bought this set to replace our 13 year old set and have no issues with them so far. Maybe it was my old set but water seems to boil alot quicker with these which is always a help.The main feature that drew us to this set is rubber handles.Alot of the newer stuff has metal handles or mostly metal with a little rubber.We wanted something that we do not need to use a pot holder to move the pots without burning ourselves.

Be sure to read the care instructions; can't not be placed in dishwasher, do not use cooking spray, do not use metal utensils etc...)Not an issue for us but some may be put off by this.
