(More customer reviews)I use my Paula Dean batter bowl almost daily. It is a cinch to pull out when mixing just about anything and the pour-spout side makes baking a joy. The size is larger than I expected, a definite plus. You could easily get several boxes of cake mix in with plenty of room to spare. This is a heavy and well-made piece, but the picture is somewhat misleading. The bowl has a VERY strong theme of green throughout- it is beautiful, but the picture does not really display it correctly. This is a great gift for the person who has "everything" and likes to cook. I am looking forward to collecting more pieces from Paula's line of cookwear.

(More customer reviews)I love this Waechtersbach dinnerware, but Amazon shows a cereal bowl in the picture, and says in the description that the set includes the cereal bowl, but that is not true. The set includes a 8 1/2 inch soup plate, NOT a cereal bowl. Both picture and description are wrong! I also ordered some of the individual place settings, and they also have the soup plate, not the cereal bowl as pictured. So the dinnerware gets 5 stars, but Amazon gets 1 star for not having the correct picture and description.

(More customer reviews)I was very excited to buy a new set of everyday dishes after 20 years!!We redid our kitchen and it was time to change the dishes to match.We've had a different Pfaltzgraff pattern all these years and thought it would be safe going with the same brand.The color of the orbit tan is a little darker than expected against our medium tone wood table, but solved that with tan placemats.Very happy with the size of all the pieces even if the dinner plates are a little big for the dishwasher!The set looked great at first.Biggest drawback and point of great dissatisfaction is the chipping that has happened.This is contrary to the other review.We have not been "banging" them around, it's just the occasional hit as your stacking, etc.Just purchased the plates this past winter and already have chips in almost all the large plates and not small chips, big ones.Some of the bowls have chips now too.And when they chip, it's white underneath!I've glued a lot of the pieces back if they were still in one piece and manageable.But, I'm very discouraged about that.I feel like we have to treat them like china.We like to entertain and I'm embarrassed to put these plates on the table with company.20 years with the other set with small children did not produce the results we have with this new set and grown children handling them!
