(More customer reviews)My daughter broke the last of my original CorningWare set I'd had for 30 years. (I got it young, ok?) I was looking specifically for cookware that would stack, since space is a concern. Having only to deal with a single glass lid that fits more than one pot is a definite plus. The storage lid and serving cradle are nice bonuses, as far as I'm concerned.

The price was good as was the quality I've come to expect from CorningWare.

He is an avid chef and griller. The covers enable the Pyrex pans to be used for marinading as well as storing. I chose the Pyrex also because it is made in the USA, and it is a quality product. The shipping was very fast.

(More customer reviews)I love this set. Can be dressed up or down depending on situation. Pretty enough to serve directly from the oven. Washes up in a snap and are durable. I love that they are made right here in the USA. Can use them everyday, as well as for the holidays. The Pyrex lids for the longer dish fits the Anchor too. Can go in oven, freezer, dishwasher, and if microwave if you use one of those. The pics here show plastic serving pieces. They are not actually included. Having a toddler, I would have thrown them in the recycle anyway. Probably full of bad chems. you would not want to expose your child too.

For those who are not familiar with the original U.S.-made glass/ceramic Corning Ware, this cheaply made substitute may seem like a good deal.For those of us who still have pieces of the original Corning Ware, this product is a horrible substitute.

World Kitchen bought the brand in the late 1990's, promptly "redesigned" the product, and shipped manufacturing overseas.WK is trading on the reputation of Corning Ware while offering a product that bears no resemblance to the original in versatility or durability.

I'm switching over to Pyrex.It is an excellent product and manufacturing is still done in the U.S.

I take care of my 82 year old grandmother & she just love how she can take a can of soup and poor it into the cup, cook it in the microwave then what she does not finish she can up the lid on and put it in the refrigerator. When she wants it again just take out of the frig. and put it directly in the microwave. Clean up is good also only on problem with them and that would be the lids. After a little time the plastic exsorbet a red tint from tomato based products. Other then this I'm buying them for all my friends as Christmas presents.

The following is the complaint that I sent to Anchor Hocking regarding their product.

My husband bought me three of your glass pans for Christmas 2009 in Woodburn, Oregon at one of the factory stores in the outlet mall. I've been using Pyrex brand glass dishes previous to this. I've used the dishes a few times for different meals and brownies with no issues, until last night. I put chicken breasts into one of the Anchor Hocking glass pans, the rectangle one about 7"x10" (approx), and put it into the oven set at 375 degrees. After 8 minutes, there was a loud explosion and my husband and I went rushing back into the kitchen to discover that the glass pan had exploded inside the oven, destroying our dinner and damaging the inside of our oven. There are hundreds of pieces of glass all over, and even after doing my best to clean it all up, I'm still finding shards of glass today, making it dangerous to use the oven. I've looked around online and found the consumer affairs website where it looks like this is a problem that has happened to MANY MANY people using your bakeware. Since this is a known issue, I'd like to know what you plan on doing to make this right. I will be throwing out all of my other pans from your company since I now know that they are not safe. THEY'RE NOT SAFE! I can't believe that you're making a product that is actually DANGEROUS! It's dishes for crying out loud, and they're actually UNSAFE!
