(More customer reviews)My daughter broke the last of my original CorningWare set I'd had for 30 years. (I got it young, ok?) I was looking specifically for cookware that would stack, since space is a concern. Having only to deal with a single glass lid that fits more than one pot is a definite plus. The storage lid and serving cradle are nice bonuses, as far as I'm concerned.

The price was good as was the quality I've come to expect from CorningWare.

When the time came for me to get a tea kettle, this was the one I looked for.I grew up with this one in the house, and it's just as great for my needs.Ok, being single, 3.5 quarts may be a bit bigger then I normally use, but I just add as much water as I need and set it on the stove.The water heats quickly.Steam sets off a whistle in the spout, and it can be heard with ease in any part of the house.
I looked at other Revere kettles, but found their handles and spout openers to be rather flimsy.Not so, here.This kettle will last for quite awhile.
As always, Revere has made a wonderful product.It's so easy, even this bachelor has no problem heating water.

(More customer reviews)I have owned this pan for 3-4 years.I plan on replacing my 10 inch about that often as they begin to show some wear -- that isn't bad for $20 or so.I have not found a nonstick surface that holds up to metal utensils or high heat.If you are careful about these things, this pan can last several years.I use mine almost every day.

For those who are not familiar with the original U.S.-made glass/ceramic Corning Ware, this cheaply made substitute may seem like a good deal.For those of us who still have pieces of the original Corning Ware, this product is a horrible substitute.

World Kitchen bought the brand in the late 1990's, promptly "redesigned" the product, and shipped manufacturing overseas.WK is trading on the reputation of Corning Ware while offering a product that bears no resemblance to the original in versatility or durability.

I'm switching over to Pyrex.It is an excellent product and manufacturing is still done in the U.S.
