(More customer reviews)These knifes are excellent value. They are razor sharp when received and stay that way with a few strokes of a sharpner, after or before each use. The ony thing is these knifes are not drop forged, they are stamped steel, but are of excellent quility. One last thing do not put these knifes in the dishwasher it will damage the handles and the blades. Hand wash them only. I would recommend these knifes to anyone on a budget as a very good product for a very reasonable price.

(More customer reviews)I purchased these knives after having purchased and returned mundial steak knives that had great blades, but the black plastic handles faded after only one hand washing. These knives have serrated blades and are fine for cutting steak on a plate, and I don't think I would want steak knives to be any sharper than what these are, because if so, they would damage my dinner plates. You aren't supposed to wash them in the dishwasher, but I have several times now and they came through as good as new.The rose wood box is nothing special, but it's okay.Overall, for the price, I'm quite happy with these knives.

(More customer reviews)For the price, these are fantastic knives. I've had no problems with them at all - and they're quite sharp. Best not to put in the dishwasher. They will rust if water stands on them, and the handles don't respond well to the dishwasher. The blades are thick and sturdy, unlike many steak knives in this price range. Treat them right and they will last! I'd buy them again.

(More customer reviews)I was expecting a nice modest set and well made and user-friendly steak knives. I was STUNNED to see the TEXAS sized KNIVES when they arrived. They are absolutely HUGE, and not at all practical for the common household. The would not even fit in our drawer. They never made it out of the package. i sent them back and I was very disappointed. Dimensions of the knives should be included in the description - (Note for web content managers). These knives are nearly 2-2 1/2 inches wide.

(More customer reviews)I'd been dealing with a steak knife set that I hadn't been happy with for a while.Remembering how well the original Ginsu knives had worked, I did some searching and came across this stainless steel set.I took the plunge and ordered a dozen knives, at this price if they were garbage, I'd throw them out.They arrived today and I must say I was quite impressed at the look and feel of them.They have a heftiness to them I was glad to feel, unlike the lightweight set I was about to discard.I tested them on some leftover steak I had in the fridge....they cut it like butter!I'm delighted beyond belief.Sure you can spend 10 times this amount on steak knives, but I doubt you will find ones that do the job better.Looks, feel, quality and a bargin basement price. Trust me!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this set on clearance from Sears and was pretty excited since we have another knife set by Chicago cutlery that has been very good to us. I'm not so pleased with these. they are great looking and the blades are super sharp, but from the first wash I had knives rusting in spots that I cannot figure out how to remove. They were washed by hand and allowed to air dry, so I'm not sure if this is the cause, but I'd say 4 knives out of the set have had this problem. I wasn't aware stainless steel was supposed to rust.
