There are plenty of reasons to love Anolon. Excellent quality, even baking, the sillicone handles so the clutsiest of bakers (ME!) won't drop fresh baked brownies on the floor...But the #1 reason I love Anolon bakeware is because there is no sticking and therefore, no mess!I am a busy mother of three, ages 6, 4 and 1. I homeschool the six year old and quite honestly, I don't have time for scrubbing pans. One gentle wipe with the dish rag and these babies are clean! Awesome! Oh, and I have a tendency to burn things and thankfully, Anolon makes that pretty difficult to do. My collection of Anolon continues to grow, as Amazon keeps offering them at these great prices. Thanks Amazon and Anolon!

(More customer reviews)After holding off on buying new knives for years, and settling with a drawer full of hodge-podge of collected crud, I finally decided to treat myself.Could not be any happier with them.Felt guilty at first for buying myself something a couple of months before Christmas, but I rationalized that with all the cooking I'll be doing, I'll be far better off.The are amazing.The rubber-like grip makes for steady handling.They are weighted perfectly.Comes with a great sharpener, as well as super simple instructions on how to care for them.(Who knew you are really supposed to sharpen them after each use!Takes two seconds, and will keep them like new forever!)Anyway, I'm still rambling.But I'm just so happy with them.And I love the santoku knife!The block looks great, too.

(More customer reviews)These have been a great set of pots and pans for the past year.I use them on a daily basis.The only wear that I have seen in on the bottom of the pots that touch the stove surface.The inside of this set is still in great shape and show no sign of use.The only thing that I would have liked to seen on this is a steam vent on the lids.But a great addition to any kitchen for the price.

A great starter set, this 10-piece cookware collection features must-have pieces for any busy kitchen. It provides a 1-1/2-quart covered saucepan, a 2-quart covered saucepan, an 8-quart covered stockpot, an 8-inch open French skillet, a 10-inch open French skillet, and a 10-inch/3-quart covered saute pan. The saucepans come in handy for making homemade marinara sauce; the stockpot works well for vegetable soup, beef stew, or boiling pasta; and the skillets offer gently curved sides for flipping food or sliding an omelet or grilled cheese sandwich easily from the pan to a plate. The included saute pan functions like a skillet, but its wide base meets tall, straight sides for extra depth and capacity--exceptionally convenient when making one-dish meals.
Constructed of extra-thick aluminum, these heavy pots and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly (no hot spots to worry about) and won't warp. Their handsome, charcoal-gray exterior is harder than steel and resists scratching and denting. Inside, they're coated with DuPont's exceptionally durable Autograph 2 nonstick that readily releases food. Stainless-steel handles have an attractive satin finish. The handles are rounded for comfort, hollow to stay cool on the stovetop, oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and have hanging holes. In addition, the cookware comes equipped with deep-set, satin-finish, stainless-steel lids with matching handles that help keep in heat, moisture, and nutrients.
Unlike conventional hard-anodized pots and pans, the cookware is dishwasher-safe because its titanium-composite exterior is nonporous. Nevertheless, its virtue of being dishwasher-safe is not unlimited. To prevent pots and pans from discoloring in a dishwasher over time--and to prevent voiding the lifetime warranty against defects--the manufacturer's cleaning instructions (included) about water temperature (120 to 140 degrees F) and detergent (mild, with a phosphate content less that 7-1/2 percent) must be strictly observed. As with most cookware, hand washing Anolon Titanium is the better alternative for ideal care.

(More customer reviews)We purchased these Anolon Advanced Bronze with our UAirlines miles.This is a heavy-duty set of cookware, but absolutely BEAUTIFUL on the stove.If you have a smaller family (4 people or less), you may do better purchasing the individual pieces on sale.The 8 Quart stockpot is HUGE.We have an older stove/microwave combination and it was too tall to put on the back burners (they have a 4.5 qt stockpot which we ended up purchasing).We also ordered the 1 and 3 qt saucepans as the 10 piece set has the larger 1 1/2 quart and 3 quart saucepans.After using the 1 1/2 and 3 qt we realized that the smaller sizes would better fit our needs.BUT, our two boys are under 10, and so our needs will probably be changing as they get older :)

I was a little worried about not being able to put them in the dishwasher, but they clean so easily, that I don't mind washing them by hand - takes just a minute.We debated whether to purchase these or the Anolon Chef-Clad (stainless), but I am not a gourmet cook and am used to using nonstick cookware.In retrospect, I am glad that we got these, as I don't think-when the cookware gets older-that any imperfections will show as much as on stainless.

In all, this is an awesome set - but make sure you get them on sale - even the manufacturer runs them on sale on their website :)
